So I like Wolfwood's cross from Trigun. I decided to redesign it with my own spin on the functions.

-The basic appearance is still the same, with the cross-shape and skull trigger.
-The Bottom arm still turns into a machine gun. Again, this functionality seemed too practical. However, now I've added blades that come out of the sides and top. That way, even when you run out of ammo, you can still use it as an oversized sword. After all, if you're strong enough to wield it as a gun the same way Wolfwood does, you're probably strong enough to swing it like a sword. Also, the blades at the end make it easier to stick it into the ground upright and use it as cover. Not to mention that the side-blades mean that it actually can cover more area when using it for defense.

-The right side releases the grips and detaches into 4 large pistols. Rather than releasing a rack, I decided to try and go for more caliber.

-The left side also detaches from the main unit, but instead of more guns, it instead turns into a separate sentry gun that can target enemies on it's own. It has various uses, like you can set it down for additional firepower, or leave it somewhere before you move up and have it provide cover fire for you, while also making people think you're somewhere you're not. Otherwise, you could toss it so that it can fire at a target from a different angle. It has a rudimentary AI built in that merely needs to be whispered some commands before it's set or thrown to fulfill the desired function.

-The top end opens up to reveal a high-powered sniper rifle of very high caliber. I figured that while a Rocket launcher is significantly more destructive, once you fired it you're done. So for example, if you miss, or even if you hit and there's still more large enemies in need of disposal, then you're in trouble. This way, more ammunition can be stored for relatively quick reloading, and it's more precise, so as to avoid collateral damage when in more restrictive locations, or when you otherwise don't want to damage the area ina significant manor. Also, the extending barrel doubles as a more traditional grip for the sword.

So to summarize: Melee, Shield, Small Arms, Machine Guns, Heavy, and Stationary weapons. I'm sure I can do better.
